The semifinal matchups for the 2025 League1 Canada Women’s Inter-Provincial Championship are set following Saturday’s official tournament draw, which was hosted by Andi Petrillo and broadcast live on OneSoccer.
Altitude FC of League1 BC, the lone team to clinch its spot in the tournament so far, will take on the League1 Ontario champion in the competition’s opening semifinal on Friday, Aug. 8 at 7:30 p.m. ET/ 5:30 p.m. MT.
That match will be immediately followed by a meeting between the League1 Alberta champion against the Ligue1 Québec champion at 10:30 p.m. ET/8:30 p.m. MT.
All four champions were selected from one pot to determine the semifinal matchups.
Altitude FC Women of League1 BC is the first confirmed participant in this year’s Women’s Inter-Provincial Championship. The champions of League1 Alberta, League1 BC and League1 Ontario will be determined in the coming weeks.
The winners of the semifinals will advance to the competition’s Championship Final on Sunday, Aug. 10, while the other two teams will vie to win the Third-Place Match that day.
All four matches will air live on OneSoccer.
The full match schedule for the 2025 Women’s Inter-Provincial Championship, which will take place at Emerald Hills Stadium in Sherwood Park, Alta., is as follows:
- Semifinal 1: Altitude FC vs. League1 Ontario champion, Friday, Aug. 8 at 7:30 p.m. ET / 5:30 p.m. MT
- Semifinal 2: League1 Alberta champion vs. League1 Québec, Friday, Aug. 8 at 10:30 p.m. ET / 8:30 p.m. MT
- Third Place Match: Sunday, Aug. 10 at 2 p.m. ET / 12 p.m. MT
- Championship Final: Sunday, Aug. 10 at 5 p.m. ET / 3 p.m. MT
The Women’s Inter-Provincial Championship features the champions of League1 BC, League1 Alberta, League1 Ontario, and Ligue1 Québec, competing in a single-elimination format to crown the top women’s pro-am club in the country. The 2025 tournament marks the fourth edition of the national competition and its first time hosted in Alberta.
