Sherwood Park, AB – (Aug. 9, 2025) – The 2025 League1 Canada Women’s Inter-Provincial Championship final is set, with Ligue1 Québec champion CS Mont-Royal Outremont and League1 Ontario champion Simcoe County Rovers FC scheduled to meet  at Emerald Hills Stadium in Sherwood Park, Alta. on Sunday, Aug. 10 for a chance to claim Canada’s women’s pro-am national title.

Calgary Blizzard SC and Altitude FC will meet in the competition’s third place match that same day.

The final was decided during semfinal action on Friday night at Sherwood Park. Simcoe  advanced with a hard-fought 1–0 victory over Altitude FC, thanks to a first-half corner kick goal from Teagen Hanley, while CSMRO came from behind to edge League1 Alberta’s Calgary Blizzard SC 2–1 with back-to-back second-half strikes from Osamede Iyare and Devon Vermaine in the 65 and 66 minutes, respectively.

Both clubs enter the final chasing history. For Simcoe, the match is an opportunity to capture their first-ever national title and become the first League1 Ontario team to lift the Women’s Inter-Provincial Championship trophy. For CSMRO, it’s a chance to avenge last year’s final defeat and affirm themselves as the top women’s side in the country.

Sunday’s matchups are as follows:

• Third Place Match: Calgary Blizzard SC vs. Altitude FC – Sunday, Aug. 10 at 2 p.m. ET / 12 p.m. MT
• Championship Final: Simcoe County Rovers vs. CS Mont-Royal Outremont – Sunday, Aug. 10 at 5 p.m. ET / 3 p.m. MT
