Toronto, ON – (Aug. 4, 2025) – The field is officially set for the 2025 League1 Canada Women’s Inter-Provincial Championship, with Altitude FC, Calgary Blizzard SC, CS Mont-Royal Outremont and Simcoe County Rovers FC now confirmed as the four clubs who will compete to be named national champions in Sherwood Park, Alta. this weekend.
The race to win the provincial title and earn the opportunity to appear at this year’s League1 Canada Women’s Inter-Provincial Championship went down to last weekend of regular season play in League1 Alberta and League1 Ontario, with Calgary Blizzard FC and Simcoe County Rovers FC clinching their spots in the four-team competition on Friday and Saturday, respectively.
CS Mont-Royal Outremont cliched its spot as Ligue1 Québec champion when it won the league’s playoff final on Sunday.
Calgary Blizzard SC, CS Mont-Royal Outremont and Simcoe County Rovers FC join League1 BC champions Altitude FC, who became the first side to clinch its spot at the League1 Canada Women’s Inter-Provincial Championship on July 10.
This year’s tournament will be hosted at Emerald Hills Stadium in Sherwood Park, Alta. on Friday, Aug. 8 and Sunday, Aug. 10, marking the first time League1 Alberta hosts the competition.
The semifinal matchups are as follows:
- Altitude FC vs. Simcoe County Rovers FC – Friday, Aug. 8 at 7:30 p.m. ET / 5:30 p.m. MT
- Calgary Blizzard SC vs. CS Mont-Royal Outremont – Friday, Aug. 8 at 10:30 p.m. ET / 8:30 p.m. MT
Winners will advance to the Championship Final on Sunday, Aug. 10 at 5 p.m. ET / 3 p.m. MT, while the other two teams will face off in the Third Place Match at 2 p.m. ET / 12 p.m. MT.
Tickets to the 2025 League1 Canada Women’s Inter-Provincial Championship can be purchased at Emerald Hills Stadium in Sherwood Park, Alta. on Friday, Aug. 8 and Sunday, Aug. 10 for $15.
All four matches will air live on OneSoccer. Friday’s semifinals will be available on OneSoccer’s main channel, as well as on FuboTV and TELUS Optik TV (channel 980) in Western Canada.
